But just last week on Yahoo there were several articles saying "the AR15, like the one used in the Newtown..." This blows my mind. Everyone knows there was no AR15 at that school that day, but the media still pushes flat out lies out.

The Bushmaster was an AR-15, was it not? Lots of companies make a .223/5.56 semi-automatic firearm with a 16" barrel and detachable magazines. Sure, it wasn't made by Armalite, but accessories are even sold as "AR-15" parts. And it's not inaccurate to say the AR-15 is like the one used in Newtown... because it was.

It was declared that the wounds were caused by a .223, not a 9mm, not a 45, not a 40. They found half depleted magazines on the floor. They know the rifle was responsible for most (if not all) of the deaths.

I don't know why everyone has their panties in a bunch about it. There's no need to defend it. The AR-15 didn't just jump up and start offing people by itself. The media can tackle that nonsense.

And the gun pulled out of the trunk was a (I think saiga) 12-ga semi-auto shotgun. I've been seeing a lot of people in different forums and discussions still saying "the AR was in the trunk". I would love for this to have been a conspiracy. It's not.

I heard it was just a shotgun, and he never had an Ar15.

The shotgun was in mom's car.
He used the AR in the school with the handguns.

That's all there is to it.

Well that dismisses that rumor.

No one will ever know exactly what happened there..... Probably one of the most horrific loss of life in the last few years. Yet what, less than 5 MINUTES of video... Video of COPS rushing into the WRONG school... The "SPECIAL NEEDS" shooter was such a crack shot that he killed everyone in his sights. The Poor parents who looked like they rested in a "holiday inn" the night before.

The Media is at fault for making so many questions.

so uninformed, or just plain liars,

would an officer really say that the shooter couldn't have been stopped with that rifle ???
Can he really believe that it wouldn't have happened without the AR ?? Lanza had enough arms to do the damage without it.

Using this tragedy for gains on their own agenda is another tragedy its self

Aye fellas this thread has already been temporarily shut down once we should probably move on from this situation and get back to speaking about our love for our firearms.
