I almost traded my 2012 Camaro 45th 2ss ls3 mn6 in for a convertible 2013 GT500, and they were going to sell it for 65k. After thinking about that money for a supercharged car, it would be much cheaper to juice mine up and save about 25k. If I really wanted to I can make so it could put a smack down on the gt500 and still have plenty of change. 44k is too much for a 2010, you can find used 12s for 45-48K

Steeda has has been taking cars to that next level ... just like we have been doing with Camaros.

Pass on the 44k price tag

I passed on the whole Ford Mustang thing and went with my 13 2SS/RS 6M.

As an afterthought, I test drove the GT500 just to see what all the commotion was about. My last Mustang was a '66 fastback when I was in high school, and well before I got into the 2SS, I was contemplating on taking a fox-body Mustang LX and doing a Coyote swap with full suspension modernization, but I want to drive now and not be stuck with a program that would take a lot of time and a grip of cash (may as well put it into turnkey). I'm happy with my 2SS and I've got an outstanding platform to begin with, and the Mrs. is happy. Here in Kuwait, there's plenty of Mustang 4.6 and 5.0s and a few Camaros. The Camaros are mainly 2LT, RS with a sprinkling of 1SS and 2SS.

Just a happy guy with a great car

It's like my own sub 40k GT3 lol
I see aftermarket seats with a lower seat frame in the future

Seeing GT3s and GT2s here is a normal thing. They never see any track time, just leisure Friday and Saturday afternoon drives, but in Abu Dhabi at Yas Marina Circuit, lots of GT3 action with other exotic cars.

Lets not get carried away here. While I like my 5.0 it's going to take a bit more than just a tune, cai, and exhaust to get it to perform like the 11-13 500s. Why not keep the warranty with a FRPP 525 hp supercharger package and suspension mods.

Or maybe trade the SS in on a 1LE and put a supercharger on it with a warranty.

We didn't get the 1LE here in the Middle East. We can get them via private buyer and import them, but the price after the whole affair will push it way up.

I'm sticking with the 2SS and doing a full suspension upgrade with a tune for starters before I get into power add-ons. I've been into turbo/forced-induction for the better part of a decade, and I want to give that a break for a bit. I want to do a logical progression and learn the car as I go. Yeah... I will probably end up in the world of forced-induction with the SS, but getting there is half the fun

Everything makes sense now.

I never looked at your location, and if I had Kansas University would have been my guess. (KU is not Kansas guys, but I think they knew that)

I'm sure the import fees on things like that are nuts. On the other hand,'it is Kuwait. Easily one of the richest nations in the world.... I'm just trying to figure out why......

Oh yea...

Everything in Kuwait is expensive. Nothing is built or grown here.

There are some perks...

Oil flows and the one thing I can never complain about is the price of gas or the octane. I pay 85 cents a gallon for 95 octane and a $1 a gallon for 98 octane.

Nor can I complain about phone plans. We don't get charged for receiving calls or texts and the internet plans are unlimited one fee a month. No hidden charges and all phones are unlocked.

No taxes and vehicle registration is brake lights, head lights, a horn and turn signals and a non-smoking exhaust.
