I would say I hope they sell every one they make (but IIRC, these cars are essentially going to be built to order). I do hope they sell a lot though, that way, when the time comes, it can get moved to Alpha+, named, and given a proper engine lineup.

But it doesn't seem like they have any intention of making this a full-line vehicle. It's more like a premium car for bragging rights alone. They could give it a full set of engines and trim levels right now - the G8 had them all...But it sounds like that's not the plan for this one.

Cadillac has the RWD small 4-door.

When did they say that?

Some guy that said he was a GM Tech or something like that posted on LS1Tech that the LS7 would appear on two GM "H.O" vehicles in 2014. It got re-posted in the LS7 Camaro thread. Everyone is assuming that he means the SS and the Camaro, since the Vette Z06 isn't going to use the LS7 anymore and the 427 Edition disappears after this year.

You're right.... Almost bought one instead of Camaro. Official press releases said 2013 was last year so gave special trim and badging. Either mistake on website or change of heart by GM.

About an LS7 in the SS sedan? Who knows? Personally, I think it would help justify the high price most of us have been assuming. What he's been saying about the 6th gen Camaro's been taken with a grain (or two) of salt though.
