Over 600 hp for a car weight this light?

Wow.

I like the overall look, but not in love with the taillights.. Corvettes have had round taillights for.... ever, with a few exceptions. LOVE the interior!!! It's about time! My 1973 Corvette has as nice of an interior as most newer vettes! Glad to see GM step it up this time.

I also think she could use some fog lights.. 1.5lbs isn't going to effect her driving.

The tail lights is where I'd agree the corvette favors the camaro design. Just because its square-ish.

I respect the fact they made the steering wheel smaller. But it seems the interior space is smaller than before. Perhaps its because its more busy.

I love every inch of this car. I was VERY skeptical of the rear end when I was watching the renderings but am glad that it wasn't exactly like what we were seeing. Also, I am very excited about the possibility of seeing an LT1 in a Camaro one day. I just hope it's going to be used in the SS or whatever they end up calling the entry level V-8 Camaro. For those complaining that different design cues remind you of a Ferrari or Camaro you have to acknowledge it's resemblance to the C-6. I think they did an excellent job of balancing what a Corvette should look like and advancing the look of the car with a modern interpretation.

I love it!

It reminds me of a Viper in the front, 599 profile from the side, GTR around the C-pillar and upper rear quarter panel area and the jury is still out on the rear - Malibu taillights that are slightly angle outwards with vents.

Can't wait to see the performance variance - Z07 and ZR1 (or even a ZL1).

I think it is way cool that the base Corvette will have the most hp ever, but the overall look of the car is a little too European for me. From the side looks like a Ferarri to me, but I am sure it will grow on me. Only looks like a Corvette from the front.

I know exactly what you're feeling. I agree completely. I so want to love it. But so far, it's not speaking corvette to me.
