Can't comment on texas summers. The summers here get bad, can't imagine down there!

I'm not. Unfortunately I have a lot of homework to catch up on this weekend. I go to school full time AND work full time, and this week was full of overtime at work :(

Just read in the local newspaper that the White House learned that they can not use the Executive Order as they originally had hoped. They have backed down from pushing any kind of weapons ban and instead will pressure Congress on more realistic goals such as 10 round limit for semi-auto rifle magazines, stricter background checks, and will pressure Congress to introduce a bill to make mental health care more affordable.

all i could find was this "
President Obama has vowed to limit access to what he called ‘weapons of war’ after last month’s Sandy Hook massacre but the White House is privately making clear that it doesn’t not believe an ‘assault weapons’ ban will get through Congress.
This recognition marks a rare point of agreement between the Obama administration and the National Rifle Association (NRA).
‘I do not think that there is going to be a ban on so-called assault weapons passed by the Congress,’ David Keene, NRA president, told Matt Lauer of the NBC ‘Today’ programme."

Oklahoma is arming it's teachers! A cc class is coming out in a couple weeks to qualify

I'm telling you guys... if asked, say, "NO COMPROMISE!" Whatever we lose, we lose forever!
