2012 Mustang 5.0

Well I have run the complete late model muscle car dance. My loyalty is to none as you can see. Started with the 10 SS, next went to the 12 SRT8 Challenger, now to a 12 5.0 Mustang.

While I really liked the SS, I went a little to far with the mods, making me constantly nervous about what was going to break next.

The 12 SRT8 Challenger was a beast stock and my favorite of the three. I wish I could still own it, financially it was tough on us. Having 42K wrapped up in a vehicle that I drove once a week was not pratical. I decided to get something a little cheaper yet I could still have fun with, and free up some cash.

The Challenger sold a little over a week ago, actually the car will be on it's way to Saudi Arabia soon. I had been on the hunt for a low mileage used 5.0. I found this beauty which had 2500 miles on it and was in perfect showroom condition for a bit over 25k. It's a base GT with Brembo Package option and 3:73 gearing.

Still getting used to the car and while it is nowhere the car that the Challenger was it is a very fun car to drive. Hope to install the Ford Racing Power Package which includes tuner, GT-500 mufflers, filters, and maintains factory warranty.

Me too, I really loved that car. Someday maybe I will be in another one.

Completely understand that, maybe in a few years you can keep the 5.0 and add another SRT to the stable.

i probably dislike mustang looks for being stock the most. but with little money they start to look better.

but ya its a nice performer

Actually I have gotten more helpful info on the 5.0 in this forum than on the SVT site thus far. Probably no on the tint, but if I can find a used set of wheels for the right price, maybe...
