Anyway, it's a nice gun at a good price, especially considering all the price gouging right now.

Nice rifle. I always have loved the simple looking AR's. Mine look just like that, only with a red dot and flip up magpul sights.

I actually just picked up the Aimpoint PRO yesterday, and my flip up iron sights are Aramalite, and in the mail. Next on the list is to replace that handguard with a quad rail. I'll get a picture of mine soon, but I've been busying toying with it and "window shopping". Now if only I could find rounds and mags...

Only two weeks? Really...

I can't seem to find anything 1000 rounds, and it's a bit pricey still too... maybe I'm blind?

Went to the gun show here this weekend and the rifle in my signature (SIG 556 Classic SWAT) that usually runs $1,100 retail could be had for the low price of...

...

$4,200

So, instead, I walked out the door with this:

Para-Ordnance 1911 GI LTC

And then promptly went to Academy and picked up some ammo to take to the range once the weather warms up a little more

Yeah... I'm taking careful note to who is doing the obscene price gouging right now. Eventually things will be back in stock and it will settle out again, and they will not get my business then either.

Ugh. I do want some ammo, but I can't justify spending $1+ per round. That's one of the dealers that won't be seeing my money now, or when they bring their prices back down. I have some ammo, but I'm looking to buy some extra for a range day. Looks like that's going to wait :(

The NRA is offering a Life Membership special, $300. You need a life members name and membership number as a sponsor. Call 877-672-2000 and choose option 3. I'm lifer as of today

PM me if you need a sponsor.

Normal price is $1,000. Now is the time to grow NRA membership. We are in for a tough fight.

Also Gentleman, do any of you or your close friends have a .308 lower receiver I could purchase off of them? I really really really want one. It was my next build and then all of this happened. :(
