Yeah, if everybody posted in a row. However, most people have a post set for 20 posts per page (1000 pixels, or about 1 screen length for most people) and if you set it for the max posts per page, page load times probably aren't an issue for you.

im suprised you didnt raise the argument of the people who wouldnt be aware of the size change and continue with their 200px high sig pics and the smaller amount that do bump to the 250px size wouldnt be enough to worry about.
