Well, 30 years ago and earlier, everyone drove RWD cars in the snow, and somehow, the cars worked. And a lot of them had the torque to shame a new SS Camaro. It's not your '323 hp' or whatever, it's a simple question of you not putting rubber on the pavement

No issues here with my car

Yup. I have played this game for many, many years. The high spots:

-You have to essentially store a car all year unless you dump the beater each spring
-The beater faces breakdowns, cuz its, well, a beater
-You work on the beater in the nice weather, or you just take the loss and send it to the junkyard. $$$$$ gone either way
-You pay insurance for two cars
-You need a pest-free, indoor storage area.
-You still need to take the new car to get maintenance done, potentially
-The stored car needs to be run, and will need an oil change after the winter storage.
-The stored car needs to be 'exercised' periodically so seals don't dry up in the trans, etc
-Exhaust needs to be vented out of the storage area
-Storage units can and do get broken into, even at your home
