The auto is the new FN FNX-45 Tactical. I already had its predecessor (the FNP-45 Tactical), but they made some small improvements with this one. I happen to stumble across the FNX at a gun show, and looked on Gunbroker to see what they were going for. They are very hard to find, and then I noticed that my FNP was going for more than I could buy the FNX for. I snatched up the new one, and sold my old one on Gunbroker for more than I paid!

Definitely unique. Have to keep my eyes out for one.

two questions:

i currently own a s&w sw9ve (9mm)

my mother is in the market for a handgun, essentially for home defense/concealed carry possibly. would actually be used by anyone in the house (her or her husband, but he doesn't like guns...which is weird) - anyway, i was thinking 9mm but not sure what would fit her needs. any recommendations? she doesn't want one of those tiny compact girly guns, she wants something with stopping power but i don't think she's really ready for a 40 or 45.

i was thinking about just selling her my SW9VE, then myself upgrading to .45 ACP.

so...

best 9mm recommendation under $500
best 45acp recommendation under $500

prefer all black, or black/stainless steel

Hey guys, I was in here a while back asking about guns for my first pistol purchase now that I'm 21. Well today was the day!

I want to thank ATL club member Chris (Southern Comfort) for taking me shooting a couple weeks ago.

Thanks! I actually did rotate it and when I rotated it on the iPad it uploaded it exactly like I had it rotated. So it didn't rotate my rotate.

That's too many rotates hope you follow

lol ya I know iPads can be a pain. I just noticed some pics I put up yesterday were not in the right rotation so I rotated it on my pc......even on my iPad it looked fine......dam technology!!!!!!!

Well got a break in the rain so i took it and shot 20 rounds through it at 10 yards. (18 shots at the target and then 2 shots a 2 liter coke bottle filled with water ) looks like I'm pulling the shots to the left a bit. But heck only 20 rounds through I'm sure I will get adjusted.

It's nice living on 70 acres outside the city limits...shoot whenever!
