Jamie, very sorry you had a personal connection with this horrible incident. My family's thoughts and prayers are with everyone in that community. It just doesn't make sense. I have two beautiful little girls (1 & 4), and this makes me scared to even send them to school at all. So very sorry for everyone affected.

I had to turn the tv off. It was too much. My wife wants to get the kids out of school early, just to hug them. Sad sad stuff.

The older I get, the saying - every day is a gift - starts to make more sense.
Prayers to everyone affected. I can't watch the news any more today, too depressing. Going to get out and enjoy this gift of a day. Personally I don't think the gun debate is worth having. I think it's more about a very troubled person. Maybe as a society we need to be more able to see the warning signs and look for ways to get a person like that help before something tragic happens. And crank school security up even more, unfortunately. Wishing a peacefull weekend to everyone and safe holidays in your travels. Enjoy the heck out of spending time with family and friends. |

Very sad world we live in I cannot fathom what those parents are going through my children are my world as these poor children are their parents world. Just do not understand anymore what in gods earth is happening to this world make me want to home school my kids.
