That looks like an Edelbrock E-Force SC. Let the factory FI wars begin.

You could be right. I think that's what I was thinking when I typed Edelbrock.

Is that number regarding the GT500 accurate? Does it really use 15psi from the factory? If it does, that motor is far less impressive than I thought it was.

Nvm, I just looked it up. What a joke. Sorry to get off topic. That new hemi should be sick. I just hope tuners could access the computer.

Sweet but what's so special about hemis these days considering all engines could technically be considered a hemi?

Ahhh! The horsepower wars back with a vengence. This was what we saw constantly in the 60's and 70's as kids and it was cool as heck until the oil embargo in the 70's wrecked it all.

They are very well designed motors, like the LS motors and the Coyote. Nothing special, but Chrysler holds the trademark and puts it to good use

Understood, don't get me wrong, I love the HEMI's, just didn't know if Mopar has a 'secret' way of squeezing out some more power lol

I can only imagine the price of entry for that car. The Challanger is all ready a pricy beast to begin with.

It's nice to see they are joining the war though.

Might want to check the prices. the R/T starts under 30k, or at least 1500 less than the 1SS and Mustang GT. the SRT8 is around 43k and slots nicely between the SS/GT and GT500 not only in price but perfroamnce. Realistically you are looking at the same price, and possibly a little less for s supercharged SRT vs the ZL1 and GT500, so just the opposite of what you stated is closer to the truth.
