More problems for new Ford Fusion!!!

I have been hearing reports of Fords being caught on fire forever now and now the headlights are faulty in the new Fusion lol. Ford needs to get their act together!

http://money.msn.com/business-news/a...07&id=15877699

Also another video this week from an owner of an older Ford Explorer just popped up this week this is almost weekly.

This is the 2nd recall for the 2013 Ford Fusion and it has only been out a week- First the ecoboost engines catching fire now the faulty headlights so anybody thinking of buying one of these vehicles better turn the other cheek and find something else.

OK, seeing the person in that video I am not even watching it. You realize GM has had it's fire issues too? At least 2000 model year W-bodies were recalled for engine fire dangers, all the cars recalled with the heated winshield washer fluid because of fire dangers, When the sonic first came out some were shipped missing brake Calipers. So, um, yeah.

are you seriously using this guy of all people as evidence as to some kind of issue? did you even watch the video? he also has problems with laptops being too close to him and wearing too much under armor and class action lawsuits and shaving and knows nothing about cars.

10 year old cars break, ford or not, I've seen many a brand new camaro/equinox/traverse/cruze come in to the shop with problems more severe than this guys got.

you must be a congressman or something irl op cause i've never seen someone twist the "facts" and blindly ignore others so consistently in their favor as much as you do.

http://www.newser.com/story/152458/f...258k-suvs.html GM recall from earlier this year for fire dangers of the Trailblazer and family SUVs, almost 260k recalled.

9/2012 GM recalls almost 50k sunfires and colbalts from the 09 model year for possible fuel leaks and fire http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/...ecall/1602747/

6/10 1.5 million GM vehicles recalled for possible fires from washer fluid heater http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2010/...n-cars-hazard/

6/12 4000000 cruzes recalled for fire danger http://articles.nydailynews.com/2012...vice-president

At the very least Ford is catching them early and getting them taken care of.

Yeah but what about the new Fusion its having problem after problem right out of the gate and this was suppossed to be a big car for Ford so far not so much. I'm just showing the other video to show how Ford has neglected to fix problems with their vehicles year over year the fires from 2000-2007 are proof. And yeah GM and all other manufacturers have recalls too thats with every automaker doesnt matter who they are. The 458 Italia Ferrari is notorious for catching fire BUT the difference is they all owe up and fix the problems and you dont hear about them anymore but with Ford its the same fires all the time.

lolol, It took GM at least 10 years to recall the W-bodies, same with the suvs, all do it, get over it, GM is just as guilty as the rest. Besides wtf are the other Ford fires you are talking about? I have heard nothing of them.

Yeah I already know of all these recalls BUT theres a BIG difference between brake calipers on the Sonic and Cars engines exploding and air bags going off ect that are found in recent Ford recalls.

Fusion is probably still best in class in terms of the midsize segment. Fires, faulty headlights and all.

Not saying only the OP does this, but people seem to forget that GM also has recalls. In fact, EVERY brand has recalls.

Nope wrong again check this article which chooses the 2013 Malibu being better quality over the Ford Fusion. AND I dont even like the new Malibus styling that much and we all know its getting a new overhaul next year.

Yep you are absolutely right as I said in a previous post. Its how these manufacturers handle the recalls thats the difference. Toyota & Ford havent done a very good job last few years.

Check this article for the 2012 model year.

Malibu's not a bad car but it needs work now that Ford brought their A-game.
