Thanks It has been a tough learning experience but at least something good has come out of it. I would have never thought about replacing the hood with a different style and I am much happier with this new look. I must thank Gary too for he suggested getting a different hood

Last year - the first week in December we had a terrible wind storm. It uprooted trees, cars were damaged by flying debris, power was out for several days in different areas. Last night the wind started to blow. I live on a really steep street. This morning on the way home from church I saw a cardboard box tumbling UP the hill in the wind. It is really whipping things around outside - I hope there are no 18 wheelers on the freeway right now. Get off the freeway and park those babies into the wind. I hope my ham radio antennas survive! What is with the first week in December?

I'll have to tell you the long version of my adventure southbound on I-15 from Idaho one of these days..... I think you know already I was loaded heavy and made it thru, but I counted well over 20 trucks that didn't, even parked they were laying down. That was around 96 or 97, don't remember exactly, but I recall it was in the winter because Wyoming was a skating rink.

I can imagine! Glad you made it thru safe my friend. I should tell you a funny story about a trip across Wyoming on I-80 at Easter time once back in the 70's. Did I say funny story? Maybe it wasn't so funny....

A little earlier this evening the front finally hit us. Lightning, wind, hail, rain. It's past now, I think everything here survived.

Good Morning all. Very tired from a fun & busy weekend. The club party Sat which was great then the Who concert last night. They played the whole Quadrophenia album then several of their hits. It was great. We did not get home until midnight & I have an early dentist appt this morning. I'll try to post up some pics tonight. Have a great monday everyone.
