If you don't mind sharing, what do you have for information on the Monte and how much did you get for trade-in on it? I'm looking to maybe sell mine right now and buy a beater for a year or two until I can get my camaro
Our 2005 Monte had the dual exhaust and 3.8 engine! It also had leather and high rear spoiler with 80,000 miles! The car drove excellent and for a 3.8 would surprise you! The dam thing liked to drink oil though!! Lols! We traded in and they gave us 6500! It was in real good shape and the only thing wrong with it was it had a baseball size dent ( about 1/2" deep) on the rear drivers quarter panel that some knuckle head put on it while it was parallel parked!
Good luck to you!! I hope you get your Camaro! My wife loves her Car!!

haha nice!

My car has the 3400, with a tune I have no problem with stock 3800s and it still gets better MPG, so I'm pretty happy with it!

I'm going to do some work to her, there's some curb rash on the front and rear bumpers that I'd like to fix and color match the side skirts and maybe even pop a dent out of the rear bumper that was there when my dad originally bought it around 40k miles or so.

So, I'll probably just be cleaning her up and making it run well

Mitch, welcome to camaro5, on my 2nd C5, this ones a ZL1. Love the car, although my 2010 2SS was also very special! Great forum, you'll enjoy! Keep us updated on your C5 purchase!

Thanks!

What all do you have for preferences on the ZL1? Obviously the power and suspension are a plus but are there any other little things that you have noticed?

Also, do you think it's easier to mod a SS than a ZL1 being that most of the ZL1 parts are pretty well upgraded already?
