I can't wait to see it!!

Gary, you and Maggie are very special - that's why you get to see mods first!

I love decorating for Christmas! Sadly, we won't be this year... We'll be in Hawaii the week before, and getting home on the 22nd. A real tree won't last a week alone (especially with our cats!), and there won't be any real trees left when we get back, I'm sure. So, we'll celebrate while we're in Hawaii, put some lights on a palm tree, and Santa in a hula skirt... The trip IS a Christmas gift for the family, after all.

Anxiously awaiting pics of the new mods ladybumblebee . Hawaii For Christmas sounds like fun. My sister just got back from Hawaii & it sounds like she really enjoyed it. Her great son gave her the trip out of settlement $ he got after being hit by a car riding his bicycle.

After 73 on Thanksgiving it is 28 here this morning & will only get up to 44 & windy. As we say, if you don't like the weather in Tennessee, stick around a while, it will change. I will make a batch of my fudge to take some to my dad & some to our neighbor whose wife just recently died. Then Mike & I will go get my dad & take him out to eat then go see Mike's dad for his birthday. We better bundle up!

Have a great day everyone. I just love long weekends

There must be some serious fun and/or shopping going on out there. I think this is the first time in memory there has been over 12 hours & no posts on this thread! Of course here I am. Had a nice meal out with my Dad but missed Mike's dad who was out shopping. We just spent some time with Mike's Mom & left his gift.

Just so ya don't start talking to the walls ... figured to jump in for aa quick post ..

... was out picking up a new suit and stopped by Best Buy and was quite surprised at how quiet the mall was. The only excitement at the mall was witnessing a fender bender.

Camaro had the top down all day today, even with the 40 degree weather .. though it was parked in the garage and I took the Infiniti.

Shopping centers were back to "normal" here today, very easy for a Saturday to drive through the commercial district.

LOL We saw a couple of 5th Gen Camaro converts in Clarksville today & Mike commented it is too cold for the top down. I said "I bet Andy is driving with his down & the heater blasting".

Seat warmers take the chill off the night air too.

I thought about it seriously, but decided against it since I didn't want it to get beat up in a mall parking lot (mistakenly thought it would be crowded and nutty).

Have only needed to run the seat heaters 3 or 4 times with this car. Each of those times was in upper 30's or low 40's.

Living in AZ has thinned my blood. Anthing below 70* and the seat warmer is switched on. Got down to 64* on the way home, a little too warm for a coat.

I love driving with the top down at night!

Yup! Is especially great experience driving it top down downtown here in Nashville. The lights and the sounds of live music, etc make for a great cruising experience. Jan got to experience a bit of that up in Indy when she and Mike rode with me to the restaurant, though we didn't get the full effect of city lights and a downtown type of cruise. (And she didn't get to experience the cruising at Interstate speeds topdown through a 5 minute or so rainstorm, like Karen did riding with me the next day!)

I'm sure that is great. Most of the time, I get to hear other people's loud, thumping car stereos when we're stopped at traffic lights.

Driving through Phoenix at night is fun, but driving out in the middle of nowhere is more fun.
