I am so happy to have just bought my 2013 2ss. i will tressure it a long time to come!
besides...you just cant beat this current look..its very non EVO! and i love it.
The new LT1 V8 engine that will likely be used is a 6.2 just like the current LS3....but with way different tech inside.

Agreed, it looks horrible though, takes away the joy of driving an american muscle car.

Yes, it seems everything stupid they do over there we have to copy, and cool things and ideas we created here are ridiculed and derided by slightly more than 1/2 of the people here.

The Corvette did years ago. The New Render looks like the Mashup of a Camaro, Ferrari and GT-R which it will probably look like...

I don't understand why companies would try to take classic American cars and make them more European, especially for the American market. Sell cars designed for Europe and leave our cars alone.

Don't blame the car companies, they have to follow the laws on the books regarding what they can and cant produce.

Ford is all hard up about producing "global cars" right now. It is a good business model but I think it is easy to get carried away with it. It can be dangerous to screw around too much with a classic American car like the Mustang. They have a fine line to walk.

People get all worked up about change, but it happens or a company dies. The 86 Taurus was thought to be either the ugliest thing ever, or the greatest. It turned into the best selling car for years.

What laws require US cars to look European?

There is nothing wrong with the design evolving as long as it keeps some classic design features.

There isn't one. And I didn't say there was.

If, by "European", you mean SMALL, I can list a whole bunch of regulations with the power of law.
