Did good we had black outs all round the city but, good news majority got power back on yesterday. Appreciate your concern beer for you my friend.

Good to hear. We got off pretty easy here. The eye made landfall closer here, but to the north. Therefore, the winds were coming from the west, were as you guys north of the eye got the winds directly off of the ocean. More rain, stronger winds, more storm surge. Looking at the devestation, one can only imagine what something more than a cat 1 would have done.

Yeah thankfully it wasn't higher i've been thru a cat 3 in Florida before not a good site at all. Rain is a powerful thing..mother nature is not to be messed with. Thankfully i made it and relief efforts are being dispatched the national guard is on the go.

Max wind speeds around here were somewhere between 60 and 70 mph. Not too bad, but I wasn't really comfortable with the sounds I was hearing from the structure of my house. Lots of creaking and groans coming from the roof.
