Hey Gang!

Since my Friday's are crazy, here's my Foto early! We are off to this with Shawn and Jen on Saturday! Wahooo!

Friday is sushi with Glen and Janet. I'm kinda concerned since they have this humungous fish in their tank....

I do have a funny, sorta....Gary posted a pic of Dragonfly in his costume on a Synergy thread on FB and someone actually thought we painted our car with the numbers and vinyl graphics.I'm thinking...boy you aren't the brightest bulb in the pack huh!

Here's a thread with some info on that. If you're a DIYer, it might be helpful. The wire comes in an aqua color that closely approximates the factory light pipe that the rest of you have. I thought about doing my dash, but since my dash pieces are rare, I didn't want to take a chance of screwing them up.

I'm a DIYer, but I don't like modifying stuff with drills and dremels to make something work. Maybe GM will come out with something, but I believe "make the part fit the car", not "make the car fit the part".

Oddly enough, from what I've read, ABL across the dash was in the original plan from GM. At the last minute, just as they went to production, the powers that be changed their minds and the dash ABL was never installed. No reason that I know of has ever been given. But one piece of evidence remained. Apparently at least some, maybe all, of the 2010s have the power plug for the absent lights mounted under the dash. Some people that do their own ABL actually tap into this plug.
Some speculate that somewhere, in some forgotten GM warehouse, the components are sitting on a shelf collecting dust. Just waiting to be discovered and sold to the public.
And that's your little piece of 5th gen trivia for the day...
