Take the head unit off and see whats up with the volume knob.
Get some tape for the tear, or stitch it...or get a seat cover.

It does have a lot of miles, but its only 3700?

I'd do it, if thats what you are interested in.
Thanks nikos30.
Yea I definately will check if I can fix those things. Gives me a place to start with your advice. $3700 yea! The guy I bought it from said he was looking for something a little bit more fuel efficient. He also looked like he was strapped for cash. I think he was put off since the strut needed replaced.

Like niko said, I should be able to repair those problems without to much hassel.

I'm ready for this weekend to clean her up. I bought it Tuesday night and haven't had a chance to do anything. I plan to give her a good wash inside and out, engine included. I'm going to stitch up the drivers seat or if that fails get a good quality seat cover. and floor mats. I'm going to see if I can take off the stereo cover and fix the volume knob, but I found out there's a trick to the volume knob. If I turn the volume up or down steadily it follows direction, but if I twist the knob down quickly it turns it up. Saturday my neighbor and friend who's a mechanic who went and viewed the car with me when i bought it, is wanting to replace the front strut. I also need to find the manufactor matching silver paint and touch up the bumper. Also need some tint for the windows. Fun times!

I guess I'm a fan of a v8 regardless of make or model.

I could have a steel chassis with a v8 attached and I'd still be grinning!

That seems like a screamin deal to me? Auto or manual? For that price I'd buy it and race the hell out of it at the strip so I didn't have to beat up the Camaro.

I was trying to scrounge up money for an 02 Trans Am w/ 70k miles on it I found for 6k, but someone else beat me to it.
