OMG! I GOTTA HAVE IT!

Been meaning to get to Costco for a week. It's a little out of the way. And when I hear that there is any kind of green toy/model Camaro, I temper my expectations. Very few actually have looked anything like a Synergy. BUT THIS ONE IS A DEAD RINGER! It's even a V6 (Even though it has SS badges). The striping is accurate, and it looks like it might have non RS headlights. I think they might have based it on the Synergy LE, they just called it a 2011 for the packaging.

Guess I'm headed to Costco tonight!

There is obviously NO PLAN in place at the home office, as management is just reacting to every little hiccup and, in the process, changing the course of the day.

Got a text from my DMAT today... "We have been activated, please leave your workplaces and plan to travel TODAY." I had already told them I'm unable to deploy this time, but please keep all the first responders in your thoughts.

Stopped to check on Ladybug today. I'll be picking her up tomorrow, but the back seat still won't be done... I just had to create a difficult pattern We figured it was better to bring her home to the safety of my own garage until the back is ready to install, rather than pulling her in and out of the shop every day... Front is almost done...

Mrs. 69supersport wanted to go to Hobby Lobby after dinner. They have, by far, the best model kit selection!

FINALLY found a convertible kit, although it is a 2011 RS/SS Camaro. Beggars can't be choosers.

I might go to Costco soon and get one of those GREEN coupes. They look cool.

SEMA show is amazing ... I wish I was about 30 years younger and in better shape. It will take me 3 or 4 trips down here to see everything not including the Aapex show. But, everyone here, and I mean everyone had cameras, so tomorrow I will take as many photos as my batteries will allow..... Did I mention we watched the ZR1's run the little auto-cross today .... HOLY Sh ------ they are unreal .... tomorrow morning I am hoping to be the first in line for the ride along I sure do hope my cell phone video comes out good ......

And to everyone complaining about their jobs ..... I sure do wish I had a job to complain about ........ I would settle for a ditch digging job right now at minimum wage .... 40 years experience doesn't seem to mean much anymore ....Hell I would even be willing to learn another language to do it....... maybe you guys should thank your lucky stars you are still working instead of complaining ... Ya Thunk ?????

And, for the record, I love my job. Some days are stranger and busier than others (like full moons and Mondays....), but it's VERY rewarding, and I work for a great company. Leaving for my management bonus cruise to Cozumel in 2 weeks!

I miss models. I remember when stores would have a whole aisle dedicated to them. Planes, cars, tanks, ships, rockets, space ships, monsters. All different sizes and skill levels. I used to make 1/72 scale airplanes. Now you're lucky if you can find anything more than a couple of car models, if even that. Kids don't build anything anymore. They don't use their hands for anything more than texting or moving a game controller.
