We now return to our regularly scheduled programing:

I had a very successful shopping outing yesterday. I managed to find 5 pairs of pants, 5 shirts and a nice sweater to wear to our club Christmas party (of course I'll wear it to other places too) all for about $200. (I love me some good bargan shopping). I had to buy size small shirts. I haven't worn small shirts in YEARS! Very cool. When I got home I discovered I have blazers to match every outfit. I am very pleased with my purchases. I have been looking a bit shabby at work lately as so much of my wardrobe was not fitting anymore. I will be looking better now.

I am now considering taking one pair of pants back. They fit & look good but are a bit too long but work will with boots. They are rather big at the bottom of the pant legs too. That is the way they are designed to be but now that I am littler, I rather like little clothes (make sense?). Anyway, I am taking them with me today & may stop by the Kohls in Clarksville & see if they have some black pants I like better & if so exchange them.

I love it when a shopping day turns out good like that!!
I went shopping with a friend who is going on the same cruise. She needed something for the formal night, and told me she was dreading it because she's "a cow"... It was a GREAT shopping day! She found a fabulous purple dress, AND got another outfit for the more casual dinner nights.
My shopping for the cruise has been limited to trying things on in my closet.... all the little stuff fits again!! I'm liking the little clothes, too, Jan

I can't make it two hours... though I do love shopping for kids clothes - they are just so damn cute.

Thanks!!
I love shopping when it's for something fun, no pressure. I hate it when I absolutely have to find something, then I never can.

I used to love shopping for my girls when they were little, now they do their own...I find shopping for my other hobby much more satisfying, in and out stops and good chit chat!

I love buying bras & undies now that I have lost weight. I have lots of nice sets but still always look for more. I have even learned to like thongs now (never thought I would). I was able to trade the pants for another pair of black pants that are flattering & I like them much better.

Today The mother in me trumped the Camaro owner and I made a decision. I am going to take the $ I was saving up for my suspension upgrades & buy my mother's solid Cherry Dining room table, chairs, china hutch & table pads & give them to my daughter for Christmas. I can save again for my suspension parts but once these cherished family heirlooms are gone, they will be gone forever. And daughters are more important than beloved Camaros.

Buying bras and undies can be an all day task at the mall. Where do you ladies shop?
