But no way I'll buy this Malibu-truck looking thingy they are selling overseas....based on looks, a nicely equipped current colorado blows it away.

Heres hoping that GM will pick it up in a segment that could really take off if it was done right. They say small trucks don't sell well. Well its because nobody wants to buy a small truck with 10 - 15 year old tech that doesn't get better mileage than its big brother does. Give us something worth buying!
This^ I wouldnt have a need for a full size truck. But a midsize truck with the features I would want, put me right in the price range of a full size and the full size gets about the same MPG. Which to me makes no sense in buying the midsize then.

That's always been a problem with me. I wanted to buy a Colorado but set up like I wanted, it would cost similar to a Silverado with the same MPG.

I'm pretty sure this is what we'll see for the new one! Not that much of change, just enough to know you have a new truck!

They really phoned in the last Colorado... it also has one of the crummiest interiors you will find anywhere.

They need to figure out how to make these for about $3000 less than a comparable Silverado, or make it stand apart in some other way such as MPG or styling or some other metric.

Thats exactly how I expect the upper fascia & headlights to look based on the teaser. I can't guess at how accurate the rest of the truck will be though

Its a Chevy truck ... its going to have a a cross-bar grill, stacked headlights, squarish styling, big hood, a cab, then a box out back. How much change are you expecting? Beyond those general traits, I don't see too much resemblance between that drawing and the current truck.

WOW... Thats a look I would like to see nothing to drastic but some how it has a tough yet sporty yet new look all wrapped into one package. Although I'm not sure about the exhaust tips in the corner of the bumper.....

Those are steps built into the corners of the bumper, not exhaust.

The corner steps are production.
