Yes, but I choose not to.

Also heart arrhythmia is not caused by caffeine in normal amounts. However excessive amounts at one time can cause death just like any drug.

Also there are other reasons that the arrhythmia occurred, such as not drinking enough water over days at a time.

Common sense at its finest.......

Can we please just let Darwinism run its course? jeesh. Common sense is a freaking commodity these days.

We take for granted that caffeine is a drug too. When I never drank any caffeine, I'd get a buzz (shaky, heart pounding, sometimes sweating) from a single mountain dew, which has I believe 54 mg of caffeine in a can. It actually worked like the drug it is, and helped me stay awake for those long nights studying in vet school or long drives. You build a tolerance quickly (days), hence the withdrawal headache if you don't have it. So yes, I can see how 2 huge Monster drinks could cause a 14 year old that never drinks any caffeine to have issues.

That being said, I do like the occasional energy drink..I prefer Rockstar punched which has 240 mg, but mainly because it's super sweet and tasty and helps me stay awake longer on my days off

very true statement... Preworkouts would destroy most people.

Now ENDO RUSH used to come in bottles that were twice this size and I am pretty sure it was taken off the market because someone or people had to have died from it. It was not for the weak or the caffeine sensitive.

who remembers this stuff!!?

Man I've taken so many pre-workouts it's ridiculous. I've probably used close to every single one that's been on the market in the last 4 years. The top 3 I've ever used are as follows:

1. APS Nutrition- Mesomorph
2. Gaspari Nutrition- SuperPump 250 (the original formula)
3. Beast Sports Nutrition- Beast Mode

If you haven't tried #1 do yourself a favor and pick some up and be prepared for the best workout of your life. Only thing that tops it is roids.

I drink so much crap over the years that I wouldn't know a caffeine rush if I felt one.

I don't get a caffein rush any more. I drink coffee all day long, my last cup is usually right before bedtime.

Many pre-workout drinks have a good dose of L-argenine, many don't tolerate it well and hit the shitter before the workout LOL.

I drink occasional Red Bulls if I need a quick pick-me-up.

I looked at a 5 hour energy once and assumed my heart would explode if I drank it.
