Not to mention on the AVEO!? Jesus.. talk about "bettar interiorz"

That 2010 Lacrosse is really, REALLY nice. GM is heading to go from toilet to top shelf quite nicely.

Though, I will note that if I need a second car in the future, CTS Sport Wagon FTMFW!! Holy crap that is nice but it needs more pointy killer sharpies in the interior like the new SRX. Pity it's a wee bit out of my price range.. My only beef on the lux linup are the Lucerne and DTS vehicles.. Guess we might as well keep em' around for when you baby boomers turn Geriatric. XD (j/k)

I can't believe they are killing the G8. Good reviews and looks like it would sell. I know we were all told it was DEAD, but I was hoping it wasn't going to be the case!

The G8 just hasnt sold. Last month was the FIRST time it went over 3k sales. Of course it cant help that GM didnt put a proper V6 engine in there and offer it with a stick but just another one of those lessons they have to learn I guess.

Just my opinion, but I don't think this would have changed sales significantly
at all. While I agree with you it should have been offered, in the end the sales would have still been low. Too bad, the G8 is a very cool car. I think if GM could have figured out a way to get more people to see the car in person, test drive, etc. then people would have realized that "Hey, this is a nice car".

The problem with the G8 is the dealers were marking it up.. I went to test drive one and they wanted $3,000 over MSRP... Nice car but overpriced considering I could buy a Toyota Camry for $7,000 less and get about the same sized interior.. I do agree that a stick shift version or perhaps a two door version would have sold more.. The same two dealers had Pontiac G6's in the $30,000 range.. I haven't been back there so I don't know what they are going to do, but it is a shame...I did like the G8..

If they had the same V6 as the Camaro you can bet your but it would sell more. 29-30 MPG in a full size sedan is nothing to sneeze at.

So the last year Pontiac exists, the company that premiered the muscle car with the GTO back in the day, there won't be a single muslce in its lineup? Now that's just sad beyond comprehension.

G8 had poor sales due to poor marketing and a low-volume brand. Give it to Chevy and you'll see sales explode. I see tons of Chargers on the road, and I live in an import-dominated state.

they kept the vibe? if they are going to do that, they should of just cut all of pontiac off and rebadge it as a Chevy hatchback or something lol why sell one car? I am for sure going to tell my mom to get the new lacrosse... it is beautiful

Charger sold 4082 in May. Cant really call that an impressive number either.

Don't like to disagree with some of you but you can forget a rebadge to Chevy. The Camaro may (and I mean MAY) be ok but there will be no other big motored car under Chevrolet. If the Cafe standards were 39 today then they would have to sell about 5 higher mpg cars to every V8 Camaro. Add the G8s and forget it.

Just saw this in the General Forum.

Will any Pontiacs (G6, G8 Solstice ect) be rebadged as Chevy?

Ed Peper: No.
