Well one of the reasons I'd get a V6 is fuel economy.

Same with the truck I'm buying next year. The new 4.3L will supposedly do 25 MPG. Good enough for me.

Let me rephrase-- no one buys an SS for fuel economy.

I didn't want to pay for Premium and refill the tank three times a week so yeah that was definitely a deciding factor in me getting the V6. But more than that I knew it'd have 100k on it in 3 years, and there's no point in beating an SS to death and daily driving it 100mi+ per day.
