Camaro vs Police officers - Jesse James is a Dead Man

http://www.spike.com/full-episode/je...-vs-cops/32405

You can watch the full thing here. It's a 2002 35th Anniversary Camaro Black

My favorite quote is

"It's just like word association for me! Someone says running from the cops... and the first word that pops in my head was CAMARO!"

I DVR'ed it the other day and watched it last night. It was pretty entertaining.

SPOILER...........

It is a good thing that cops were able to land the spike strip, without that I do not think they would have ever caught Jesse. He did some decent driving on AND off road. haha.
I think he could have used his nitrous a little better, at least to make the show more interesting. I think his top speed was just over 100mph.

Sidenote- some of you definitely know better than me, but I do not think the Camaro was 800hp. I know they want to say a high number to help put the show over the top, but man, 800, really.

He should have use Goodyear runflats..... They will keep going even when there is no air in them.

yea.... Jesse thought he was being slick by spraying it. But what would have been real slick is to have some run flats... that would have made the cops sweat a lil bit more for sure.

I saw it too. I cringed when i saw how clean that 2002 was. I hope they didn't tear it up too bad. The coppers had to smash into it at the end. He coulda pulled away from those coppers without the nitrous.

It was all staged, the neighborhood was a ghost town, no one was there, I think it is probably a training facility for police/fireman/swat.
The guy ONE guy on the golf course and the ONE car that he passed were stunt men for sure. IMO

I also cringed, lots not so nice 2001 camaro's he could have chose. had to be an anniversary edition.
I think it would have been much more interesting if he would have traded the nitrous for run-flats.

Definitely staged though... that's a military training facility for sure. There's not a sign of life at all.

I used to live in Victorville. One the nastiest places in the US, aside from Barstow, which is just right up the highway.

The 'town and golfcourse' was an old Air Force base that shut down over 10 years ago. There hasn't been anyone living there for over decade. In fact, they cleaned it up so that refugees from hurricane Katrina could live there till FEMA got their acts together, but even the refugees refused to live in Victorville...
