I got pissed at that game. Texas has the ball on WVU's 12 YARD LINE and manages to screw it all up.

Oh well. I wonder if the young Texas squad will be able to turn around and perform well Saturday against OU.

I know all bets are off when it comes to the RRR....but I was more worried about the WV game.

Because both UG and AR had good teams last year. Week 13 of last season:
AR was ranked #3
GA was ranked #13

Funny you bring up those two, at the end of last season I would have payed to see AR and GA play each other.

Right, but we found out in the end that BOTH those rankings were too high. And with UG it goes back a few years even before.

AR played 2 good teams last year. And got BLOWN OUT by both. They weren't even in the same category. And struggled against mediocre teams like A&M and Vandy.

UG just can't win a big game. Not just lose but get KILLED.

I'm not saying they aren't good teams. But top teams??? Not even close.

I call them the way I see them. My Sooners are right up there with AR as the MOST over rated the passed few years.

The rankings are for the most part stupid as hell. NO top 5 team should EVER get blown out. But we see it from AR, OU, UG and a few others on a regular basis. These teams have no business ranked in the top 10 and maybe not in the top 15.

They were not a top ten team last year. They were definately a top five. Yes, they got beat good by two teams. Those teams just happened to be the top two in the country that had to play each other for the championship. The #1 and #2 teams last year were just on a different level of play compared to #3 and under.

Nobody could beat LSU or Bama. That's why they were on top. They were just on a wholly different level. That doesn't mean the Hogs weren't great. They were. So were the other top ranked teams. They just weren't LSU or Bama.
