My day was much better than yesterday... Glad I got the chewing out and pep talk out of the way when I did - our CEO dropped by today, and things were going smooooooth at the time!

The rest of the week should be fab, too... Normally, I'd be waving bye-bye to Ladybug on my way to the SUV for work, but with this forecast, Ladybug gets to come with me!!!

Jina fussed at me for being loud when I got up to get ready to go to the dentist yesterday. I am not used to having kids around anymore. A train could run through the house & not even make Mike roll over. I don't think I am particularly loud, but we have hard wood floors now not carpet like when Jina was a child so sound carries more than it did then. It wil be hard to stay focused today at work wondering what Jina is up to. But I have to work. So.........I'd better get to drinking my coffee. HAGD all.

Brrrrr....54 huh?

Here's what my Camaro said to me this morning...

That looks like winter time temp. Yuck. I'm sure not ready for that. I'm livin' me some fall weather. We had a few years when we just skipped both spring & fall & had just winter & summer temps. NOT GOOD! I like my 4 seasons. Which triggers the need for a video:

I'm going to pass that on

A couple of you know what's new with me and mine, my oldest brother had problems with numbness on his left side, went to the doc and he has a tumor ~3" inside of his left hemisphere of the brain about the size of a large marble..... they're going to MD Anderson in Houston to do a biopsy and go from there, thanks for all the feedback on different services.

Prayers are sure welcome... It's inoperable because it's so deep, so most likely be dealing with radiology and chemo to kick it's butt.....

Positive thoughts & prayers are coming your way. Make sure you & all his loved ones take care of yourselves throughout his treatment as well. Everyone will need all their strength. And remember:

Worrying does not empty Tomorrow of it's troubles. It empties today of it's strength.

I know that is easier said than done, but it is important to try.

Thanks girl.... I can't even imagine how he's feeling, I know he's heard the risks through the whole deal, but he's really up-beat on the phone. One of the most level headed folks I know, he'll be fine no matter how it turns out.

... I was kidding with him this morning, he answered the phone with his left hand, his arm is so numb he can't place his hand to his ear without a few tries... it just struck me as funny, we both got a good laugh. "Hello? Wait... I have to find my ear............... ok........ hello?"

Laughter... it's still great medicine...

Laughter is the BEST medicine. I'm glad you and he can still laugh. Crying is ok, too, though... sometimes ya just gotta let it out. If you want to, send me info about the mass... I used to date a neurosurgeon- bad boyfriend, good surgeon... I might be able to get names of great docs for your brother...

Ok, when I know, you'll know

Because of the location, sounds like the only surgery will be the biopsy... we'll see

Laughter is not intended to cure, treat or diagnose any illness. Do not take laughter with food or drink.Name: th_spew.gif

Size: 6.2 KB Do not operate heavy machinery while laughing. Driving a motor vehicle is not recommended while laughing. Some side effects have been reported while using laughter. Some patients have reported dry mouth, dizzyness, sweaty palms, ringing in the ears, shortness of breath, urinary incotinence, reddening of the skin, blurred vision, excessive tear duct activity, and seizures. See your doctor to find out if laughter is right for you.
