Personnaly I hated the Android OS. I had nothing but problems with it. But I also hear alot of people love it. I guess its hit or miss depending on what Phone you get. Like Eric said, play with them at the store and see what one fits you best. I think I would get the new Galaxy just because it has the bigger screen. But then again I like the iPhone for what OS it uses and the lack of serious (to me) issues. But my problems could have been hardware and not OS... so who knows....

Ok, well, I know Danny and I have had problems with some of our widgets and what nots on our phones not working. Right now, our phones run hot for some unknown reason and the batteries die within 5 hours of being unplugged. My 4G gets dropped a lot, his not so much. I don't know. I do know they also said the Galaxy is much bigger than the iPhone. Yeah we would prolly have to play around with them a bit, and go from there.
