This. The Silverado was built in Canada and still is built in Mexico and it's still an American truck. I don't understand why Toyota gets special privileges.

Every Toyota is a Japanese car. It doesn't matter if it's a transplant. Unless Toyota moves their corporate headquarters to the United States, they can spin it all they want, they're still Japanese cars.
