That is irrelevant to why I posted, I wasn't making judgements or giving my opinion. I was sharing the fact that GM used colors like this before.

That was ABM, because of the teal shade. I'm talking about regular, medium blue. Like LeMans or Opulent Blue.

Obviously blue sports cars sell because I see blue Challengers and Mustangs all the time. The key is getting the RIGHT blue.

I apologize if my post seemed like aggression towards you. I was just pointing something out.

Nah man I didn't take any offense, but I see how my response seemed defensive.

I find random facts like that interesting. Like I didn't know they had "wood rose metallic" even before the color I posted.

No one ever said blue Camaros aren't nice looking and people won't buy them. But it never sold well on the Camaro and thus went away.

Also, and I'm not sure of the linkage, if Oshawa is using the same paint shop to paint other cars, then you also have to consider the plant, not just one model.

But the numbers I recall never showed either blue being a big seller.

I can absolutely assure you GM does not eliminate colors without a lot of thought.

Honestly, someone will buy it. If I were responsible for ordering cars, I'd probably keep this one off my buy sheet, but I'd be happy to order this for someone. I'm always a fan of adding customizable options to vehicles. Adding another color choice is no exception.
