I use to be in 1345 Transportation Company(midwest city), now I'm in 777 Trans. Det.(enid....HQ is in muskogee). I've been active guard though since I got back from Iraq in July '07. I train deploying units on the warrior tasks and battle drills that's required before deploying to Iraq/Afghanistan.

Awesome. I was supposed to be going to C Co. 45th BSTB - but that was before my discharge. I doubt I'd get the same unit spot when I reenlist, even if I go in under the same MOS. I certainly won't if I swap. Not sure which unit I would want to be attached to as a medic. Hopefully somewhere where I can actually do something. I don't want to be just a staff medic.

By the same token, I'm not really interested in staying as a nurse. I'm getting my RN because I think it (and the work experience) will really help when I go to get my EMT-B and try to get a job as a paramedic.

Yeah. I'm good at medical stuff - I'm an eagle scout, and I was always good at the first aid/CPR/etc. I think I would be good at it, and honestly I'd feel like I'd be doing more good doing that then being a computer tech.
