I had the day off work and was just waking up listening to the clock radio. A woman had called into the station and was shouting at the DJ, "Turn on your TV, turn on your TV, a jet has crashed into the World Trade Center."

I turned on the TV in time to see the second jet strike.

RIP to Victims and First Responders who answered the call of duty. Blessings and Peace to the survivors.

I had actually stayed home from school that day to go with my mom to the doctor. She was in her room and I was in mine. Probably playing with toys or something. All of the sudden I heard her screaming for me to come look. So I came running because I thought it was gonna be something cool or exciting on the news. I couldn't have been more wrong. I came in and saw her standing in front of the TV, open eyed and mouth wide open. I asked her what just happened and she tried explaining to me what happened the best she could without crying.

Then the second plane hit.

After the second plane, she turned off the TV and we went to her doctors office. Which is less than a mile from Tampa International Airport. The waiting room was full of people, yet not a single word was said. We just watched the news and listened to planes landing every 30 seconds because of the presidents orders.

These two pictures will forever be burned into my brain.

I was in 2nd grade and remember it like it was yesterday. We were doing something at the front of class on the board when i think an announcement came on to turn on the TV. The whole class went to the back of the room to watch the news. I think i even still remember who the kid was that i was sitting next to. I'll never forget.

Thank you all. Especially Camaro 5 . It's been 15 years since 9/11 and 23 years since the first attack in 93 (i was there also)It still hurts me to think about and am currently paying the price for being there.
I was working that day (volunteered to work overtime) it was election day (Tuesday). I was in uniform 3 blocks away and saw one plane after the other hit. I saw one building fall after another. I ran for my life from all three buildings. Then only minutes into search and rescue it became evident that we're just recovering bodies and body parts. Some people say it was a horrible day. For me and other's like me it was a horrible week followed by months. Since 911 I've been to more wakes and lost more friends then the 23 M.O.S. that died on that day. The number of M.O.S. deaths continue to rise.

Thank you all again and please NEVER FORGET. Keep us responders that answered the call of duty on that day with no hesitation or fear for our very own safety so that we may save other's in your prayers.

It took me 15 years to even write this

God Bless us all
