Mustang v6

Been in VA for the last 4 days driving a V6 newer mustang as a rental. WHAT A POS!!!
The engine and tranny sucks! I floor the d@m thing when I get on the highway just to catch up to traffic and its slow and it takes forever to shift and finally move. The inside of the car looks very cheap, even though it has leather and a higher package! So glad I got my Camaro.

What mustang did you get? The mustangs I've seen have nicer interior then our cars. IMO Camaro has the worst interior out of the 3 muscle cars

Not sure on the exact package. It has leather seats, so I'm guessing its a higher package since it also has Microsoft's MySync... I do like the dash lights, footwell lights and door handle area lights though... now I will have to put that in my Camaro and my wife's CTS.

But overall it looks cheap to me. The doors look too old school and the inside handles look like a 90s car.

IMO, the only Mustangs I like are the Boss and Shelby. The rest can be trashed.

I guess I'm just spoiled with my V8, lol! But I did own an 08 V6 Charger and it was way better than this. So I'm making that comparison.

I don't know man... for a newer Mustang, even if its V6, I would expect a bit more...

I'm curious to how our V6 Camaros would do against the V6 Mustang...

We would destroy the V6 Mustangs. I know from experience. Notice that I have the lower gear ratio too so image what will happen when I swap in a SS rear end and throw 3.73 gears in the rear with an LSD.

i think its the opposite. We have a screen in the middle and better lighting. In addition our e brake is better positioned and the middle doesnt look like a 1990's computer. The mirror on it is also a giant flap. There sun blocker is larger and actually useful though

I like how large the panel is, but you're right, it looks like a 1992 console. I rly dont know what people see in these Mustangs... Funny, I never even considered test driving one when I was looking into buying a pony car... I was between the Challenger and the Camaro... Ended up going with the Camaro, because it looks more modern and heard the Camaro has better handling on curves and such.

That post sounds like a V6 Mustang to me. 5.0 probably would have been a better car.

I wouldn't say destroy. Overall stock v6 Mustang and V6 Camaro, the Mustang wins with same driver and conditions. It is very close and outside of perfect conditions it is a drivers race.

My sister has a 2008 v6 charger and that is definitely slower then a v6 mustang. I have driven all three cars. I think there is a problem with that mustang.

Lol I had this same experience. Drove it for one day then took it back because it kept smoking. The guy asked me why I was returning it? Simple I would like a more reliable car, this mustang is a pos.

LOL who'd you hear that from? The person selling you the Camaro
I think the phrase you're looking for is "more comfortable over bumps…"

That's exactly what our Camaro's screen looks like, a 1990's computer….
