We backed off. Decided to wait and save some more, my credit still hasn't shown mortgage payments yet, but all fo the hits required to get the morgage brought it down a bit...my interest rate was awful right now.

In 6-8 months I'll know for sure if the 'vert is coming out (I hope) and I'll make a decision then.
