some people can afford a $60K car but can't afford to put fuel in it? ummmmmm

but then again, I'm sure there's plenty of ZL1 owners on this board that think they can afford their toy when in fact they're probably in hock up to their eyelids. lol

If affording fuel was an issue, I doubt he would have bought another brand new car and started modding it right away.

I am pretty sure I didn't say I couldn't afford the fuel.. Just sick of spending so much damn money on it. I guess it's a principal thing. Plus I can keep my ZL1 cleaner and lower mileage while still driving a fun little car as a daily driver. Driving the ZL1 once or twice a week will make it that much more enjoyable to drive every time!

Isn't the FRS basically the same as the BRZ? I think it is. The BRZ did well in the MT Best Drivers Car Competition, so the FRS should be fun...not to mention, save you a ton fuel vs your Z.

Cool car!

When you get a change, how about snapping a few pics of your new FRS next to the ZL1 for size comparison?

Yes they are the same car with a few cosmetic and interior differences.

I wasn't surprised that the BRZ did so well in that comparison. I actually commented in one of the threads that I though most would be surprised at how well the BRZ would fare in that test.

Having owned it for a couple weeks I knew that the fun factor was out of this world and that the handling characteristics and steering feel were just incredible for a car in this price range. Since those are major factors in this subjective test I wasn't surprised at all. I was more surprised that they actually included it in the test!

Sure will, although it might be a day or two. Currently the Scion is up on jack stands waiting on me to install an exhaust (long story). I should have it done tomorrow.

I was thinking of doing the same thing but with a 2013 Shelby...better mileage right?
