Hello 5th gen! im looking to get into this camaro thang! right now i have an 06 trailblazer ss but im looking to get into a camaro. So what im wondering is right now im looking at 2010 ss, what should i be looking at paying? went to a dealership today and man are they proud of their cars! they acted as if i was asking them to give it to me? was it wrong to ask for a car that they were asking 30900, to be brought down to 28500? then i even told them in the begining im not looking for the v6 models, id like the ss please. so what should i be asking? how much down should i be looking at, and what kinda monthly payment should i be looking at? i know what i want and can afford im just getting a ball park figure here? hey thanks for any and all help and i hope to one day say hey look what i got!

Welcome! Good luck on getting your Camaro for the best price. I am sorry, I am not sure what the used prices should be. Carmax has a large selection of used Camaros at various mileages. You could look at their selection to get an idea. You would want to buy one for less than what Carmax is selling them for.

what is the mileage on the one you are looking at ? auto or manual? 2ss or 1ss? RS package?

Well the one I drove was a manual rs I'm thinking a 1 ss? But like I said they were not letting it go for any lower it was cyber metallic gray with 24344 on it.

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

my face hurts from this permagrin!!! its a 2010 cgm 1ss traded my 06 tbss for it, this thing is awesome! its an auto but that way the wife can drive it, shes awesome for not being the type that says no you dont need it blah blah blah! i says hunny how bout i trade in the tb for this? she says as long as we can put it in the budget and not go broke? did the budget, called insurance, got the price it would be in place of the tbss, made sure a car seat can fit if ever need be, found an auto so she could drive, found a great price, had to drive almost 3 hrs to it, drove back smiling, jammin! woo whoo live action! ok where do i find the aux gauges? thats what i want first! im going be here all night brew up the coffee!
