New 2SS/RS Socal owner.
picked up my 2012 Convertible Silver Ice last night.....
I've been driving a 2010 Avalanche for 2 years, I wanted the SS in 2010 but I've had a couple of first model year vehicles in the past with tons of problems so I waited for the Camaro to get a bit of seasoning.. I have to say my smiles per miles are are back.. The Avalanche was a nice truck, but not much fun to drive, just an over sized grocery getter, and since the wife does the shopping I needed something more fun. I'm sure there are a few guys here that know me from the LXForums back in my Chrysler 300c days (2005-2010). Any way glad to be about... look forward to learning about these amazing vehicles. -- First thing: how the hell do I stream bluetooth audio? I have read it is possible, but I only see the phone option in the radio... |

Welcome to C5. As soon as I saw your name I recognized you from LX forums! I was a member there for a few years when I had my Dodge Magnum (2006-2010). Traded in the Mag for a Camaro in Dec. of 2010 and haven't looked back! Like LX forums this is a great site with lots of info. Welcome to the Camaro club!

I sold the 300c in 2010, but as I state I didn't want another first year vehicle, so I waited, I got a screaming deal on mine and a great buy back price from the dealer on the Avalanche.. paid $41K OTD for the AV in 2012, they took it in trade for $35,900 I owed under $25K so I had $10k equity, and the Camaro is a 2012 "left over" I got for $39K OTD (I had a ton of rebates, GM visa credit, loyalty discounts, return customer credits, etc.) payments are the same on the Camaro as the AV but for 1 year less.. I'm HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY: here is the dealer shot, I'll get some more pictures after the wife sees it.. picked it up and went straight to work so she hasn't seen it yet (but yes she knows I bought it and approved it)..

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
