Won't clear the cowl/firewall. You'd have to drop the engine in the bay lower than stock.

As for keeping the flowmaster.. it's almost too much fuss at this point man. You'd probably have to have those parts custom bent and fitted to the flowmaster to make a complete 3" kit.

Which may mean actually picking up an LS/LT1 Flowmaster jug with 3" inputs for the piping. I know my outs from over the axle are 2.5 to the tip which expands back out to 3" with a resonated lip.

I highly doubt they actually had a true TATA. Most likely one accurate clone (because it just looked the part) and a ton of bondo-clean rusted hulks with 350sbcs for stunts.

Kinda-sorta like the newer Dukes of Hazzard movie. Behind the scenes said almost all the cars they used for stunts were too fargone to save so they bondo'd over all the flaws, put crap engines in 'em to run and destroyed 'em.

Similar to the original series too (200 some odd cars ('68-'70 chassis' if I recall.. 75 for the newer movie with a few plymouths)

You want to cut into the glass too? I know /scarcasm but I seriously considered it at one point for a third gen swap. 300+ HP v6 using all GM off the shelf parts and wiring in a f'kin light chassis. Check out the light blue turbo 6 that pops up in IT's build thread.

Similar concept. Honestly there's more room to actually pull a 3800SC swap in there than the 4th gen. Not to mention Fieros.. (hurr..)

Yeah it doesn't look like a real TATA. Interior is wrong.

Yeah show stunt cars are shabbily put together, just like most car's on craigslist...

If I take it to the exhaust place Im gonna ask them about the way I wanted to do it like i mentioned earlier, and if it would be a pain to go from 3'' pipe into the flowmaster. Then Im gonna ask If if be better off getting a muffler with a 3'' inlet and letting them do all the pipe work from there. This is starting to be a headache

Haha that would have been interesting. Cool concept but a lot of work.
