And my engine cover is finally ready to hit the paint booth yay!!! Though my pretty orange and black nails suffered some severe road rash from all the hand sanding. :( They were so awesome to. Some were inferno orange and some were carbon flash. :(

Hi Everyone!!

Welcome woods4ever! You're gonna like it here. Lots of girl talk and car talk - the best of both worlds!

I finally found a set of wheels to buy. Now I need to decide on whether to paint or powdercoat or both.... Oh, I'm so bad at decisions.... I had pics photoshopped to help me make up my mind. What do you all think??

With those stripes you already have (look great by the way I've only ever seen your avatar) I would go with the black and red personally. I think the black and red would make it look more guyish though if that's something your worried about.

Her name might be Ladybug, but she doesn't look very girly...

I don't think a random spot of silver will look good :/ That would be the only shiny spot on the car you know? Maybe make the center caps black and the bowtie red?

Ah I didn't look at it hard enough to see the pin stripe...How about you keep the red, silver, black pattern going and you a U pinstripe on the wheels. So where the red meets black on your wheels put leave a small U shaped pinstripe...I am trying to explain this so you can picture it lol :/

I like the silver with red trim, I'd leave the centercap silver and paint the bowtie black or red. I'm not real big on black wheels though. Nice deal on those wheels, by the way! I'm still fixing the curb rash on the ones I bought from Dennis. Have had to go back and re-do some of my amateur mistakes but I'm getting there!

My vote goes to the silver with red trim just because you have that little touch of the lighter color in the striping and I think having it in the rims will tie it together nicely. You also could always add a touch of the black in the bowties on the center cap too.

I'm not much help cuz I like them both!! However, I love the color black. I see the silver pinstripe, but if it were my car I would go black with the red accents, do the center black and the bowtie red. I'm all about black and red though, so . I believe you will make a great choice cuz your car is shmexy!!
