I like it. If you look at the body lines, they are the same as the Buick Lacross.

I like the exterior styling and most of the interior.... except that hideous steering wheel. It reminds me of a frog smiling .

I've seen one live in person too, and I think it looked great. I especially like the body lines.

I like it, I think it will be a competitive car. It looks good IMHO. It would be hard NOT to be an improvement over the current one though. Bother had an 09 as a rental when his CTS was in the show and it had the cheapest, hardest, most plastick ridden interior i have seen in a hell of a long time. My big beefs with this one, now available AWD which means it'll never get the new turbo 6 to be an SHO competitor.

Remember the current version has been on the market since the 2006 model year. A bunch has changed since then.

Also, the past two generations of Impala have easily been the most uninspired sedans ever. The 10th generation actually has some style and design to it. It will stand out very well in person.

And not to mention the interior, which will certainly be among the best in its class.

Look at the rear quarter panels......they are the same as the Lacross. I bet they are made on the same assembly line.(Because of cost)

Sigh. You're really going to argue with me on this?

LaCrosse has one long, continuous, flowing character line known as the sweepspear, a signature Buick design cue.

Impala has two character lines, both deeply cut into the side panels, with the rear one sharply sloping downwards to create a visual connection with the chrome door trim.

Overall, Impala is a much more sculpted design, while LaCrosse has a more fluidic, smooth design.

LaCrosse is on LWB Epsilon II. Impala is on an even bigger Epsilon II platform that also underpins the Cadillac XTS.

LaCrosse is built at Fairfax Assembly in Kansas. Impala is built at Oshawa Assembly and Detroit Hamtramck Assembly.

Care to try that again?

IMHO, Impala is far better looking than the LaCrosee, rear window Kink with the Impala logo behind really puts me much more in mind of the 94-96 Impala SS.

I actually think it looks great for what it is. I think some of you guys were expecting something radical. The interior is great too, but someone please tell me the people that designed that steering wheel got fired! worst steering wheel ever

and at least they didnt screw it up like they did the 13' Malibu. Car looks fantastic the previous year, new one looks likes it going to get better, then the worst ass end of a car I have ever seen shows up.
