Good evening all just getting on line for a few min. My wife has been out of town all week on a business trip so I have had to cook and clean and take care of her flowers as we have not had much rain here.

I was going to go to a cruise night tonight but it started to rain before I left work which is just as well as we need the rain and work is nuts this week so I worked 10.5 hrs today and will probably do it agin tomorrow to try and keep up.

I rolled out 7 new copiers today and an optical measurement instrument (looks like an oversized microscope). I am an IT guy to an engineer so I don't know what they are using this for but it needed to be on our network so I added it. Tomorrow I have 2 more copiers to get out then I need to coordinate the training for the end users and pick up my wife at the airport at 10 PM.

Good evening just got back from full day at Pearl Harbor.Wiped out. It took 50 yrs to get there but WOW Emotional is all we can say. Got a backstage tour of the Pacific Air Museum just by chance. Was like that little kid again inside. Spoke with two survivors and another's daughter who was signing her late father's book. Some tears were shead. Speechless and got goosebumps.Will get some pix up later.

So how many from here are going to C5Fest? Look forward to seeing some great photos.

Skip, you might not think you'll need it much, but I think you'll find the cruising and drag strip addicting. I've been on the drag strip 3 times now, and sure wish I would have had a GoPro for the Pony Wars cruise we took in Valdosta, GA!

Guess I'd better get to looking for a Go Pro and a helmet!

Mike, bet Pearl Harbor was emotional! It was closed for awhile, haven't been back since it re opened!

It's Friday! (Well, in 15 minutes anyway.) And that means it's picture day! Here's the first contribution of the day. I actually found a few free minutes the other day to go for a bike ride, and I spotted this:




It stopped me in my tracks when I noticed it! I must have seen this thing countless times, and never caught on. It's just down the road from where I live. (Only a couple hundred feet from where I took the Mt. Rainier picture that some of you might remember.) I have no idea why it looks the way it does. But I'd sure like to know the story behind it!

Rough week... glad it's almost over... Good news, my tech took her dog for a second opinion, and didn't have to put her down! Moonpie had a couple of days of antibiotics, then surgery - she's going to be OK!!


Yesterday was my father-in-law's birthday. We had him over for dinner, and spent some time making him laugh, which he needs, since today is the one year anniversary of my mother-in-law's death. :( It's been a tough year, but everyone is going on with life, just as my mom-in-law would have wanted. Bob has a girlfriend now, I really like her - she calls him buzzard bait I think Kate would approve .

Weird weather we're having here. Fell asleep to a thunderstorm last night, and it's still going on now. In my 40 years in WA, I have never seen so many thunderstorms here. LOVING IT!!! But I hope Mother Nature gets it out of her system soon. Ladybug needs a bath, and the Thunderbirds are in town for an airshow at McChord AFB. I watched them fly over my work during lunch yesterday, and was almost too excited to go back in to work!
