Stop going after girls who are already friends. There is a reason you are only friends. My best guy friend is only a guy friend because we wouldn't get along if we were BF and GF. We would never be able to marry each other without arguing everyday. So we discussed it and figured to remind friends. We go to the movies, dinner and shopping together. We have no interested In having anything more. So we are both in the friend zone.

I have learned from my past two relationships you can't make someone love you or make them want to be with you.

When you are in love you look over the asshole part it isn't until weeks later we realize that he was an asshole.

I didn't realize how sick my ex was making me until a month later when I was stable again. The stress was killing me and it might have if he didn't break up with me.

Adam you need to think completely different than this about girls or you are going to never find one.

I know. Love can make you blind. I see that in every domestic violence call I go to. The woman never leaves the guy who is beating the shit out of her on a daily basis.

Well I was emotionally abused and in turn made myself sick. I could hardly pull myself out of bed. Called out of work a lot and slept whenever I had the chance. I saw him as a great guy and didn't understand why he would want to leave me. Reason number one: emotionally unstable. Reason two: clingy. Reason three: hated the "jewel fan club"

I didn't see it at the time but I am glad he dumped my ass.

Adam, things happen for a reason. Grow with it and learn for the next relationship. She is out there.

I know what you are saying and that is terrible what has happened in your past and I understand how hard it must be to gain trust in a girlfriend again because of this, but come on man, there are lots of real nice girls out and you will find the right one soon, don't be so negative and get out there and find someone new.
