Shoot, if they have openings for positions above yours I say jump at those too. My mom always told me to apply to everything I could because you never know what you might land. Do I still?? No, cuz I feel funny, but if I HAD to then yeah I would go above my head and see what I could manage to get. Most places have to train you somewhat anyways, so they might take a chance with you. Reach as far as you can, and see what happens.
