EXACTLY!!! You can tell too by the way they look when they are driving. They have the "I'm better than you" look to their face and head tilt!!

I'm not either, I'm with you, BUT I am trying to learn though. That's what makes us different is that we are wanting to get to know our cars and wanting to do the work. I don't have one cuz daddy bought me one and will take it to the shop and have a guy work on it to get me everything I want. bla bla bla!! Spoiled, rotten....:mad 0260: Ok, I'm fine.

I haven't seen Purple Challenger Guy in awhile but it's ok. I'm seriously considering just moving away and leaving this place. It's all been for nothing and I'm tired of it. I thought I had a reason to stay but, you know, I guess I was wrong. I'm widening my job search and getting the right job and saying fck the location (well, fck New England anyway )

And
but I don't do anything on my car myself - I take her to the dealership so I don't ruin anything. I am very bad luck so I don't want my poor baby to take any more abuse from the Universe on account of me

ALOT OF GOOD POINTS. I look back at my 20's I had a blast went out to VEGAS and took trips out to Phoenix. I feel like I'm still living up everyday but I'm enjoying life. I can't be sitting alone at home 7 days a week with severe depression. If I had kids right now I wouldn't be enjoying a camaro right now either.

At least you are bettering yourself in the process!! Plus, maybe the move will not only yield better fortune or work satisfaction, but also bring you joy and excitement in other areas!! Good luck on the job hunt, and I hope you find something that you will enjoy doing.

I'm trying too. I usually watch carefully first then 'try' to do it myself under close supervision, but I haven't done much. It's a work in progress, and I'm slowly getting there. We can do it, but some of the get down in the engine and tear it apart stuff, YEAH NO! I agree with you there!
