exposed carbon insert?

Can you buy one from the dealer? If not is it available any where else?

Yeah, 600 bucks as an upgrade option with the car cause you're already paying for an insert. It's over 2 grand, and yeah it's a ripoff IMO too, but that's usually how it goes for GM replacement parts.

The Option is for the exposed fiber color (instead of painted). In either case, the insert is carbon fiber.

Well this is bull I ordered my car with one and had to drop it so I didn't loose my spot when it was put on constraint then they turn around and give it away to the people that didn't have to drop it only to charge me over 2k for one? Screw that if I get one it'll be aftermarket Im not giving GM that much to get what I wanted in the first place.

Might be able to work something out with the dealer to swap inserts...

Yup... that blows...

I had one on order and would have gotten the rebate if it hadn't got pushed to MY13. Had to take one off the lot and the exposed wasn't available for the 1st builds.
