i love my manual. been through some heavy traffic, and i've never complained. i guess it all depends on the person. Even when living in cali and driving through LA every other weekend, i didn't mind.

an 06 colorado z71.. its manual..but not cammed and no dual disc clutch. not bad in traffic.
