Now that I think about it, the MAF has a torx screw but I don't think I needed to remove that and dissemble that piece to swap the intake. It just clipped out, then back in if I'm remembering right. So I think all I needed was the flathead. That was 332 beers ago...

We should! I have been lurking this morning because I have been working on wedding stuff. I have all my appointments made except for the one with the coordinator and thats cause she is out of office today. Now to start working on the invitations and the little details. The MAF sensor does use a torx bit to unscrew and screw into the intake tube housing.

I'm about to post a pic from my phone. If you zoom in you can see it uses a torx bit on my car at least.

Yeah but I don't think you have to actually dissemble that piece. I think you can just clip the MAF in and out without using the torx.

But I'm not sure... I don't remember... been too long!

You have to unscrew the two bits to move the maf sensor to the new intake tubing.
