I don't really have a problem with the 2013 wheels. I've seen better, but it could've been worse.

I freaking love it. Tired of this Sonoma. It's exactly what I'd want, something almost as big as a Silverado but not quite, with a diesel.

Camaro5 has become a very unhappy place. Personally, I hate the 2013 wheels. So I have no room to talk about that thread.

I freaking love it. Tired of this Sonoma. It's exactly what I'd want, something almost as big as a Silverado but not quite, with a diesel.

New Silverado and Sierra unveiled later this year though...

That is definatly a new and fresh style for the S-10 badge, but the basic design goes back to the second to last Malibu. Headlights, hood, grill. Its been done, starting 3 years ago. Concidering this design will take two years to get to market, it will show up as a 5 year old design. I've been driving S10s for years. I always bought a truck. I never wanted a Malibu.

I predict when the 6th gen debuts there will be a ton of hate as well.

In my years being involved with this stuff though, I've discovered a cardinal rule: If enthusiasts hate it, it will be a hit with general consumers.

it's like when they redid the dash last year and people posted "well i still like mine better! a muscle car should have a cheap dash!"

Well there's the problem...GM now knows that every year, new features and changes need to happen to keep vehicles fresh. No more letting products wither on the vine (ahem, Impala).

People here haven't figured that out yet. They view change as a bad thing. Look how many are already hating on the 6th gen. They hate the fact that one day (and one day soon), their 5th gens won't be the newest thing on the block anymore.

The reason for GM waiting until 2014 is twofold: 1) So the Colorado doesn't overshadow the K2XXs' launch and 2) We're getting a US-specific model.

Remember the freaking steering wheel? You still have idiots complaining about that. The 2012 wheel is better in every functional aspect than the 2010/2011 wheel. GM received a crapload of complaints about how ergonomically horrible the 2010/2011 steering wheel was (I would have to agree to some extent) and fixed it. Apparently that was a bad thing.

Sure, it wasn't a Camaro-specific wheel anymore, and it has the Chevrolet badge on it, but WGAS? The Camaro is a Chevrolet. End of story. It's not a brand to itself.
